Today we held a presentation at C-site’s seminarian on information visualization.

Mattias did our presentation, other speakers were for example Anders Ynnerman, IT-person of the year, and Mikael Jern, professor in information visualization.

OptiPlan was very pleased with our first release, resulting in a new project from them. This new project involves the development of an more advanced calendar view and a collection of other new features.

After one and a half month we have now on time finished the advanced WPF project for OptiPlan AB.

We are very satisfied with our calendar view. It will be enhanced further and will be part of our framework. Parts of the the application can be seen in the video on our homepage.

We are starting a project for the new customer OptiPlan AB. They offer solutions for logistics optimization. We will develop an advanced WPF front-end for their optimization engine. One key component in this project is to create an interactive calendar view that presents the optimization results.

We are now located in Norrköping Science Park.

The new office enables us to work more efficient since we sit next to each other in an open office space enabling effortless communication between team members and with desks that are suitable for pair programming.

Information visualization

Information visualization (infovis) combines information design, computer graphics, human-computer interaction and cognitive science.

Important aspects of infovis are the interactivity and dynamics of the visual representation that enables the user to modify in real-time the abstract data to find patterns and structural relations.
